At Eye Candy Medspa and Lash Bar, a deposit is required to confirm most appointments. It is not an extra charge; it is applied in full toward your service total at checkout.
This policy is in place to protect our clients and our team. When someone no-shows or cancels last minute, that time cannot be offered to another client waiting for an appointment. We appreciate your understanding and respect for our providers' time.

All deposits are applied toward your service total at checkout. The deposit is not an additional fee; it is simply paid upfront to secure your appointment and deducted from your balance on the day of your visit.

When Your Deposit Is Protected
Your deposit is fully protected when:
- You cancel or reschedule with proper notice. 48 hours for medical services, 24 hours for lash & brow. Your deposit transfers to your new appointment.
- Your provider determines you are not a candidate for treatment for clinical reasons. Your deposit is fully transferred or refunded, no questions asked.
- Eye Candy Medspa and Lash Bar cancels or reschedules your appointment on our end. Your deposit is fully transferred or refunded.
- You come in and choose a different service on the same day. Your deposit applies to whatever service you receive instead.
When Your Deposit Is Forfeited

Groupon Clients
Groupon clients do not require a deposit to book. However, cancellation or rescheduling within 48 hours of your appointment will result in a $35 cancellation fee that must be paid before a new appointment can be confirmed. This fee does not apply toward your service.

Why do you require a deposit?
We reserve dedicated time with a licensed provider specifically for you. When appointments are cancelled last minute or missed entirely, that time cannot be offered to another client. The deposit ensures your slot is truly held and keeps our providers' schedules running smoothly for everyone.
Is the deposit an extra charge?
No. The deposit is applied in full toward your service total at checkout. You are simply paying a portion of your service upfront to secure your appointment. Nothing additional is charged on the day of your visit.
Can I use my deposit toward a different service?
Yes. If you come in and decide to do a different service on the same day, your deposit applies to that service instead. Just let us know when you arrive.
I cancelled with enough notice. Where is my deposit?
When you cancel with proper notice, your deposit transfers to your next appointment rather than being issued as a refund. It stays on your account and can be used at any Eye Candy Medspa and Lash Bar location. If you would prefer a refund instead, please reach out to us directly and we will process it for you.
I had an emergency. Can an exception be made?
We understand that emergencies happen. For documented medical emergencies, please contact us directly at (714) 723-0770 and we will review on a case-by-case basis. Our standard policy remains firm for cancellations inside the window that are not medical emergencies.
I was not told about the deposit policy.
Our deposit policy is communicated at the time of booking: online, by phone, and via confirmation and reminder messages sent before your appointment. My provider said I was not a candidate. Do I lose my deposit?
No. If your provider determines you are not a candidate for a treatment for clinical reasons, your deposit will be fully transferred to another service or refunded. This is our commitment to you.
I have booked here before. Why is the deposit amount different now?
We updated our deposit amounts in July 2026 across all services and locations. The deposit still works exactly the same way: applied in full toward your service at checkout. Nothing extra out of pocket on the day of your visit. The current policy on this page reflects our most up-to-date amounts.
